January being the Cervical Health Awareness Month æFICCI FLO North East Chapter organised an æawareness programme in collaboration with Apollo Hospital 21st January 2018. Dr. Him Leena enlightened the audience about reasons, problems and æof cervical cancer. Dr Leena laid stress on the fact that women above 35 years should undergo medical tests that include æPaps Smear, USG , HPV tests etc for early detection and prevention of the gynecological problem and disease.
Dr Aloka Goswami, Gynecologist æexplained about Breast Cancer and how to do a self test.
The motivational talk by Dr Minoti Borthakur, a cancer survivor for 24 years, æleft us spell bound by her positive attitude to life.
Coupons were also distributed by Apollo Hospital æ for free pap smear tests and discounts on whole body tests.
