Green Plantation Drive – A Sustainable Step

YFLO Hyderabad, led by Chairperson Ms. Ridhi Jain, organized a “Green Plantation Drive – A Sustainable Step”, at FLO Industrial Park. A fully women-owned industrial park designed with sustainability and eco-friendly manufacturing at its core. The event brought together 150 volunteers, including participants from CGI and YFLO Hyderabad, to promote environmental stewardship and foster community collaboration.

The event was coordinated by communiTREE volunteers who were given a briefing on the plantation process. Volunteers of all ages, including families and children, actively participated in planting saplings. To engage younger participants, seed identification activities and bookmark leaf painting were organized, making sustainability both fun and educational. Refreshments and food were provided, ensuring a wholesome experience for all attendees. Members also had the opportunity to take a guided tour of Polmon, a fully women-owned company.

The drive concluded with a collective pledge to a greener future, capturing the spirit of unity and commitment to sustainability.
