UmagineTN 2025

UmagineTN, held in March 2025 at Chennai, marked a milestone in Tamil Nadu’s journey towards realizing its trillion-dollar dream. The event, attended by 150 attendees, served as a platform for technological innovations, business collaborations, and fostering valuable connections across sectors.

Inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, the event set the tone for the state’s ambitious vision to position itself as a global human capital hub. Chief Minister Stalin emphasized the critical role of the IT sector in achieving this vision and announced the establishment of new public Wi-Fi spots across Chennai, enhancing the state’s digital connectivity and infrastructure.

The event also provided a space for startups to showcase their innovations, particularly in fields such as AI, IoT, automation, and robotics. Sathyabama Technology Business Incubator, a key partner institution and member of FLO, played a central role in hosting Startup TN’s UMAGINE CATALYST Chennai. The event featured a Community Startup Pavilion, where 40 pioneering startups presented their ventures. This pavilion was a key highlight, drawing attention to the state’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.

FLO Chennai Startup Vertical Head Ms. Priya Goutham, also actively participated, offering support and guidance to budding entrepreneurs and fostering further collaborations within the startup community. The event attracted delegates, students, faculty members, and government officers. This broad participation highlighted the event’s significance in uniting a diverse group of stakeholders from various sectors, including entrepreneurs, investors, academics, and policymakers from across the globe.

The Chairperson’s leadership ensured that FLO Chennai’s presence and initiatives contributed to the wider success of the event, which focused on creating opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth.
