FLO Chennai organized a Valedictory Function at at a one-day National Conference on “Women in Leadership – Breaking Barriers & Empowering Change”. MSME Verticle Head, Ms. Geetha Premkumar, was invited as the Chief Guest. This event was organized by Guru Shree Shantivijai Jain College for Women, in association with IQAC, and was held at Om Shanti Auditorium and attended by 120 participants.
Ms. Geetha Premkumar delivered an insightful session focusing on Employability and Entrepreneurship, where she emphasized the importance of skill development, financial independence, and innovation in achieving career success. She highlighted the growing opportunities for women in various sectors and encouraged them to build entrepreneurial mindsets by identifying market gaps and leveraging their strengths.
She also addressed coping mechanisms for professional and personal challenges, stressing the importance of mental well-being, emotional resilience, and effective time management. She provided practical strategies for handling workplace stress, overcoming self-doubt, and maintaining a work-life balance. She urged young women to develop networking skills, seek mentorship, and continuously upskill themselves to remain competitive in today’s evolving job market.
