Spark – Beyond the Palate: Blending Wellness, Women Empowerment & Culinary Innovation

FLO Indore set a new benchmark for women-led initiatives with the launch of “Spark – Beyond the Palate,” a dynamic event focused on themes of health, entrepreneurship, and culinary excellence. Spearheaded by Ms. Palak Hassanandani, Initiative Impact Head, and guided by FLO Indore Chairperson CA Shweta Agrawal, this one-of-a-kind gathering transformed food into a force for empowerment and well-being. 

A key highlight was an insightful session on gut health by renowned nutritionist Ms. Sonali Sachdeva, who emphasised the gut’s role in immunity and mental well-being, revealing that 95% of serotonin is produced in the digestive tract. Her practical tips, especially around intermittent fasting and avoiding OTC prebiotics, sparked meaningful conversations among attendees.

The spotlight then shifted to an electrifying Master Chef Competition, featuring seven teams led by FLO’s homegrown foodpreneurs. Competing to craft healthy, calorie-conscious dishes under expert guidance, the contest celebrated innovation and teamwork. Also, 80 empowered women participated in this event.

Judged by an eminent panel including past Chairpersons and health experts such as Ms. Meetu Kohli, Ms. Sonal Sisodia, and Ms. Sonali Sachdeva, the competition showcased FLO members’ entrepreneurial acumen and culinary flair. FLO Indore continues to lead with purpose—igniting transformation that goes well beyond the palate.
