FLO Indore participated in Retire Smart – Outlook Money’s Financial Wellness Leadership Series, held at Hotel Park, Indore, focusing on the role of workplace financial wellness in employee retention and organisational leadership. The session highlighted how corporate pension benefits, particularly the National Pension System (NPS), can strengthen employee benefits frameworks, promote long-term financial security and support talent retention.
The programme featured Ms. Nidhi Sinha of Outlook Money, Mr. Sumit Kumar, Chief Manager, PFRDA, and Ms. Khushbu Shukla, Assistant General Manager, PFRDA. The engagement brought together approximately 60 attendees, including HR and finance professionals from leading organisations in Indore, to discuss the integration of financial wellness into workplace policies.
Key discussions covered the importance of pension planning and awareness of schemes such as the National Pension System (NPS), Atal Pension Yojana (APY) and NPS Vatsalya. The session emphasised how understanding these schemes can help individuals make informed financial decisions and build greater long-term financial resilience.
The programme also explored the connection between employee wellbeing and effective leadership. It highlighted that organisations can strengthen employee engagement and retention by going beyond conventional benefits to support financial awareness, independence and future preparedness. The initiative reinforced the importance of integrating financial wellness into organisational strategy, positioning retirement planning as both a personal responsibility and an opportunity for employers to demonstrate employee-focused leadership.
The session engaged approximately 60 participants, including around five FLO members, and promoted awareness of pension schemes, retirement planning, and the role of corporate financial wellness in employee retention.
