FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Poonam Kochhar, commenced its Drone Didi Skilling Programme, a prestigious national initiative aimed at empowering young women through technology, skill development and emerging career opportunities. Under this initiative, FLO Pune has identified 20 aspiring young girls who will be trained in drone flying and operational skills, equipping them with future-ready competencies and opening doors to opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, land surveying, logistics, disaster management and technology services.
Aligned with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to empower women through technology and skill development, the programme seeks to bridge the digital divide and enable young women to participate in India’s growing technology-driven economy. Pune is proud to be among the participating FLO chapters contributing to this significant national initiative.
The session became successful due to Neeru Goel (FICCI-Flo Pune Chapter- Individual Member). Also, young women were empowered through technology, skill development and emerging career opportunities.
