FLO Pune organised a vibrant Garba workshop on October 9, 2026, at Poona Club Ltd., Pune, to encourage member engagement, foster team bonding, and celebrate the festive spirit through performance arts. The workshop provided members with an opportunity to learn traditional Garba dance in a lively, interactive, and enjoyable environment. The session was conducted by Payal Bhaskaran and the Gehakhti Gujaratan team, who guided participants through Garba steps and encouraged them to participate with enthusiasm and confidence.
The workshop created a joyful atmosphere, allowing members to experience the rhythm, energy and cultural significance of this traditional dance form while preparing for the festive season. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 65 FLO members and non-members, bringing together women through a shared experience of music, dance and celebration. Participants enjoyed learning new steps, practising their movements and engaging with one another in an informal setting that encouraged interaction and camaraderie.
Special appreciation was extended to Tania, Madhu and Kinjal for their efforts in organising the workshop and creating an engaging festive experience. Beyond dance and recreation, the workshop offered a valuable platform for strengthening relationships among members, encouraging collective participation and promoting cultural engagement. Such activities contribute to a vibrant chapter community by creating opportunities for women to connect beyond professional engagements while celebrating India’s rich cultural traditions.
The workshop concluded on a cheerful note, with participants looking forward to celebrating the festive season with renewed enthusiasm and confidence. The initiative reflected FICCI FLO Pune Chapter’s commitment to fostering meaningful member interactions through cultural and recreational experiences.
