FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Poonam Kochhar, organized a meeting between Little Leaf Foundation, the Ashram management, and Vaayu Biogas on the scope of installing a biogas plant in the Ashram. Held in Shivane, Talegaon, the discussion highlighted the growing importance of biogas as a sustainable and eco-friendly energy solution.
Ashram management gained valuable insights into how biogas can be generated from organic waste and utilized as a clean cooking fuel, reducing dependence on conventional energy sources. The discussion went on quite positive, hoping to install a biogas plant in the Ashram which resides 40 male students.
Soon, the management of Ashram and Little Leaf Foundation will visit 1-2 sites that already have functional biogas plants and decide on further course of action. FLO Pune extends its sincere gratitude to Kalpana & Pritu, Vertical Heads, for their contribution.
