FLO Mumbai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Seema Saroj, organized an experiential gathering, “Feel & Flow,” in collaboration with Seeds of Wellness, Rooveda. The event was created as a safe and non-judgmental sanctuary for women to explore the emotional and physical evolutions of womanhood. The session acknowledged that every stage of a woman’s life brings its own physical and emotional shifts—from youth and relationships to motherhood, perimenopause, and menopause.
Ms. Geeta B. Bhansali, an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Emotional Wellbeing Facilitator, led this gathering and ensured a great experience for all the participants. Her approach integrated coaching, mindfulness, improv, Voice Movement Therapy, healing, and creative practices to help individuals develop emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and sustainable resilience.
Participants were encouraged to recognise emotions that may often remain unspoken, suppressed, or difficult to articulate. Rather than analysing or attempting to “fix” emotions, the session introduced a more fluid approach—acknowledging feelings, becoming aware of them in the present moment, and allowing them to move through the body. Through interactive activities, movement, play, artistic expression, mindfulness, and intuitive somatic exploration, participants connected with their emotions and bodily experiences.
The experiential format encouraged women to step beyond purely logical thinking and reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom. The session also explored how greater present-moment awareness can help women respond to emotions rather than automatically react to them. Participants were introduced to practical approaches for navigating emotional experiences with greater clarity, acceptance, and resilience.
The dress code of white and red added a symbolic dimension to the experience for 20 FLO members. White represented wholeness, purity, and embracing every shade of a woman’s journey, while red represented strength, vitality, boldness, and the natural cycles that connect women across generations. The event ultimately celebrated the many colours, cycles, experiences, and stories of womanhood, reinforcing the message that emotions, like life itself, are meant to flow.
