Beauty Course: Batch 1 Completion & Batch 2 Orientation at Siree’s Women’s Skill Academy

FLO Bangalore’s Social Impact Circle, in collaboration with Siree’s Women’s Skill Academy, organised the Beauty Course: Batch 1 Completion & Batch 2 Orientation on 18 September 2026 at Siree’s Women’s Skill Academy, Bengaluru. The programme was designed to provide young women from KPS Government Pre-University College for Women with practical beauty and wellness skills that can support self-confidence, employability, and future income generation.

The event celebrated the successful completion of Batch 1, in which 45 students completed a two-month beauty-skills training programme. The course enabled students to gain hands-on exposure to professional beauty and wellness practices while continuing their academic education. By developing practical, market-relevant skills, the programme seeks to create additional livelihood opportunities for students, including part-time work, freelance services, and self-employment. The impact of the training was already visible, as a few students from Batch 1 had begun earning through the skills they acquired.

The programme also marked the commencement of Batch 2. Fifty students from the same college attended the orientation session, where they were introduced to the course structure, schedule, practical learning process, expectations, and opportunities available after completing the training. The Batch 2 intake represented an increase of approximately 11% over the 45 students in Batch 1, reflecting growing interest in vocational learning among the students.

The event brought together key stakeholders committed to women’s skill development and economic empowerment.

Rajannaji from Samarpaka Seva Trust attended as a special guest. Mrs Suma, Principal of KPS Government Pre-University College for Women, represented the academic partner, while Mrs Pratibha represented Siree’s Women’s Skill Academy, the professional training partner. Their presence underlined the importance of collaboration between educational institutions, community organisations, and skill-training providers. With 95 students reached across both batches, the initiative demonstrates FICCI FLO Bengaluru’s continuing commitment to creating meaningful social impact through life-skills training.

Students are also encouraged to visit Siree’s Women’s Skill Academy during their free time to practise, refine their techniques, and build confidence. The overall programme footprint reached 12,500. Supported by KrazyBee Services Limited, with sponsorship of ₹2,00,000 per batch, the initiative creates a sustained pathway for young women to translate skill development into greater independence, income potential, and long-term economic agency.
