FLO Pune Chapter organised “Chintamani Ashtavinayak Darshan,” a spiritual and cultural visit to the revered Chintamani Temple at Theur, one of Maharashtra’s eight sacred Ashtavinayak temples. The visit brought together 28 FLO members for a meaningful morning of spiritual reflection, heritage appreciation, and cultural learning.
The Chintamani Temple, believed to have ancient origins, features a present stone structure estimated to be approximately 300–400 years old. The temple is closely associated with the lineage of Saint Morya Gosavi and the Peshwa era, reflecting Maharashtra’s rich spiritual history and architectural heritage.
During the visit, members had the opportunity to experience the temple’s traditional architecture, including its stone construction, intricate woodwork, and heritage design elements associated with Maratha craftsmanship.
