FLO Pune organized a session under its Financial Literacy vertical featuring Mr. Sudhakar Kaza, Retired Managing Director of RBI-Note Mudran and former consultant to the World Bank and IMF, as the keynote speaker. 130 – 150 members and guests participated in the session and expressed appreciation for the learning experience. Mr. Kaza delivered a presentation covering three vital topics:
- The Heritage of Bank Notes in India.
- The Design and Production Process of Indian currency.
- A global and Indian perspective on Demonetization.
Mr. Kaza’s experience in currency operations, both in India and globally, offered the audience insights into the evolution, artistry, and technology behind Indian banknotes. He shared technical, historical, and strategic nuances that captivated and educated the audience.
