Haqdarshak Campaign — Connecting Artisans to Government Schemes

Trashury’s Ashiyana unit, already a familiar name within FLO Lucknow’s circular economy partnerships, took on a new role on 24th August 2026 — not as a craft production site, but as a community touchpoint to connect artisans with the government schemes they are entitled to. Artisans working within Trashury’s ecosystem were already familiar with the space and comfortable within it, removing much of the hesitation that a new, unfamiliar registration camp might otherwise generate.

The camp successfully registered 19 artisans for government schemes on the day itself, with a further 15 applications currently in process, bringing this single camp’s total impact to 34 artisans. The gap between the 19 completed registrations and the 15 still in process reflects the genuine complexity of scheme registration — documentation gathering, eligibility verification, and procedural steps that cannot always be completed within a single day, particularly for artisans navigating this process for the first time.

This camp’s use of existing partner infrastructure offers a genuinely important insight for the Haqdarshak Campaign’s broader strategy. Rather than each camp requiring FLO Lucknow to build community trust from scratch, partnering with organisations like Trashury — which already maintain daily relationships with artisan communities — allows the campaign to move faster and reach further with the same effort. This is precisely the kind of operational learning that will matter as the campaign works toward its three-month target of 600 artisans across the city.

With another camp already in planning and the pending registrations from this session set to be finalised in the coming weeks, the Haqdarshak Campaign continues to build the kind of steady, compounding momentum that a target of this scale genuinely requires. The first Haqdarshak camp proved the model works. This second camp was about proving it scales.
