Overview
In recent years, visual arts have transformed into a powerful medium to integrate entrepreneurship, heritage, wellness, education, and social impact. Still, there is a need to address fragmented artist visibility, limited market access for artisans, and inadequate institutional support.
FLO Visual Arts initiative recognizes art as a viable profession and livelihood. It connects artists, artisans, educators, entrepreneurs, collectors, and industry leaders through workshops, exhibitions, heritage initiatives, and strategic collaborations. The national initiative focuses on nurturing artistic talent, preserving traditional crafts, enabling creative entrepreneurship, strengthening institutional partnerships, and expanding livelihood opportunities.
Objective
To position visual arts as a powerful catalyst for creativity, entrepreneurship, cultural preservation, and social impact while aligning with FICCI FLO’s vision of empowering women through knowledge, skill development, and economic opportunity.

Identifying artists
Identifying artists within and beyond FLO.
Building institutional
Building institutional partnerships with artists, artisans, educators, entrepreneurs, collectors, industry leaders, government, and civic bodies.
Creating platforms
Creating platforms for knowledge-sharing on careers in the creative economy and art entrepreneurship.
Implementation
Implementation of the FLO Visual Arts initiative across chapters by organizing artist interactions, art workshops, studio visits, museum tours, and hands-on learning to strengthen India's creative economy.
Conducting art-based initiatives
Conducting art-based initiatives for underprivileged, specially-abled, and neurodiverse communities for confidence-building, skill development, and livelihood opportunities.
Launching target
Launching targeted mural and community art projects to give female artists high-visibility economic opportunities.
