A Founder’s Story with Mohit Jain of Kimirica

On 13th June 2026, FLO Coimbatore hosted an exclusive session with Mr. Mohit Jain, Co-Founder and CEO of Kimirica, at ITC Hotel, Coimbatore, in collaboration with RISE, attended by 80 FLO Coimbatore members. What came through most in Mr. Jain’s conversation was passion — not the polished, rehearsed kind, but the quiet, persistent kind that shows up in the small decisions made over years.

He spoke candidly about building Kimirica from scratch, tracing the brand’s origins from a modest start in Indore to its current position as a globally recognised name in hospitality amenities and luxury skincare. He was direct about coming from a humble background, and about how the brand’s growth was driven not by singular breakthroughs but by an unwavering belief in the idea itself — showing up consistently, building genuine relationships, and staying attentive to opportunity even in unglamorous moments.

A significant part of the conversation centred on resilience: when the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the hospitality industry that Kimirica was built around, Mr. Jain pivoted the business into sanitizer manufacturing and has since expanded further into retail. Members responded strongly to this part of the session, recognising in it the same uncertainty many of their own businesses had faced during the pandemic — and drawing real encouragement from how visibly passionate he remained about the brand even through that disruption.

Throughout, Mr. Jain maintained a notably humble and approachable tone, one that members remarked on well after the session ended. Members asked pointed questions about scaling operations, maintaining brand values through rapid growth, and navigating retail expansion — questions Mr. Jain answered with the same candour and passion that defined the rest of the conversation.

For FLO Coimbatore, the session reinforced a belief the chapter holds close: that scaling a business to national and global prominence doesn’t require abandoning humility or groundedness — the two can, and should, go hand in hand.
