On 21st June 2026, more than 50 FLO Lucknow members gathered at The Centrum for a Hatha Yoga session focused on stillness, breath control, postural discipline, and mindful movement.
Led by C3 Physio & Yoga Services, the Ancient Hatha Yoga practice emphasised the traditional principles of controlled breathing, proper alignment, and deliberate movement. For members accustomed to high-intensity workouts and the fast pace of everyday life, the session offered an opportunity to slow down and reconnect the body and mind through a more mindful approach to wellness.
What made this year’s celebration distinctive was the addition of a dedicated Aqua Yoga session, held exclusively for women. The session adapted the foundational principles of yoga—breath, balance, and controlled movement—to an aquatic environment.
Practising yoga in water provided a different physical experience, offering resistance without impact and support without strain. The session generated considerable curiosity and enthusiasm among members, with several participants describing it as one of the most unique and enjoyable wellness experiences within FLO’s programming.
The celebration was strengthened by the support of four collaborating partners. Red FM 93.5 brought visibility and public engagement to the initiative, helping extend the spirit of Yoga Day beyond the FLO community. GD Goenka School provided institutional support, while The Centrum offered the venue and logistical foundation for conducting both sessions smoothly.
Impact & Outcome
More than 50 FLO Lucknow members participated in two distinct yoga experiences—one rooted in an ancient tradition and the other offering an innovative approach to wellness.
The celebration reinforced the importance of wellness through community, demonstrating how shared experiences can encourage members to explore new approaches to physical and mental well-being while strengthening connections within the FLO community.
