FICCI FLO, in collaboration with YUVA Foundation, organised an engaging and interactive Tech Talk titled “Navigating the AI Era: A Future Skills Workshop” on 30th June 2026, at Aakash Institute – NEET & IIT-JEE Coaching, Ambawadi, Ahmedabad. The session was designed exclusively for Class 11 and 12 students who are preparing for two of India’s most competitive examinations — NEET and IIT-JEE — offering them a valuable pause from academic pressure to explore a subject that will shape their future far beyond the classroom.
The workshop began with an introduction to Artificial Intelligence, breaking down what can often feel like an intimidating and technical subject into simple, relatable terms. Students were walked through practical, everyday applications of AI, helping them see the technology not as something abstract, but as a tool already woven into their daily lives.
The session then moved into a discussion on AI-based career opportunities, opening students’ eyes to career paths and possibilities that go beyond the traditional medical and engineering tracks they are currently focused on. This was paired with a candid conversation on future-ready skills — the kind of adaptability, problem-solving ability, and creative thinking that will matter regardless of which field a student eventually chooses.
A key resource shared during the session was the Google Skills platform, giving students free access to structured, credible online learning material to continue exploring AI and digital skills independently.
Throughout the workshop, the facilitators encouraged students to see themselves as confident, lifelong learners — capable of growing alongside technology rather than being overwhelmed by it. The session closed with a message that resonated deeply with the young audience: “The future belongs not to those who fear AI, but to those who learn how to use it wisely.”
The workshop was warmly received by the 40 girl students in attendance, who engaged actively with questions and discussions, reflecting genuine curiosity about how AI would shape their futures.
