FICCI FLO, under the leadership of National President, Ms. Puja Garg, hosted an insightful webinar titled “From Farm to Brand: The Story of Building Value, Credibility, & Consumer Trust” with Mr. Satyajit Hange, co-founder of Two Brothers Organic Farms.
Mr. Hange shared the inspiring journey behind the inception of Two Brothers Organic Farms. He founded the organic food brand with his brother, Mr. Ajinkya Hange, after leaving their banking jobs and returning to their village, Bhodani, in Pune to pursue the business full-time. He discussed the early setbacks, such as failed pomegranate orchard farming and low pricing for organic produce.
Later, Two Brothers Organic Farms evolved from a small family farm into a regenerative organic food brand as the business combined traditional farming wisdom with modern entrepreneurship. Starting with fresh farm produce, including orchard farming, the brand expanded into traditionally prepared pantry staples, including A2 ghee, cold-pressed oils, jaggery, flours, honey, spices, pickles, and health foods.
The sibling duo successfully produced chemical-free food products, which they package with complete traceability, ensuring authenticity and consumer trust. The brand implemented dynamic QR code tracking for their products and invested heavily in third-party certifications to ensure credibility among its customers.
Two Brothers Organic Farms is now a globally recognised organic food brand, reaching consumers across more than 40 countries while empowering thousands of farmers and promoting sustainable agriculture in society. Mr. Hange emphasized uncompromising product quality, authenticity, and traditional farming practices for building a successful and scalable food business in India.
He advised FLO members to start with selecting micro-markets for testing their food products and leveraging the Indian diaspora for international expansion. The webinar was hosted under the aegis of FLO Agriculture, Agro-Based & Food Processing Industry Initiative, led by Ar. Minal Jain (Initiative Lead) and Ms. Radhika Gupta (Initiative Co-Lead).
