From Homegrown to Nationwide: Scaling Women-Led Brands Through Amazon Saheli

FICCI FLO, under the leadership of National President Ms. Puja Garg, hosted an insightful webinar, “From Homegrown to Nationwide: Scaling Women-Led Brands Through Amazon Saheli,” with Ms. Kashish Diwan, Strategic Partnerships Executive, Amazon India, as the speaker.

During the session, Ms. Diwan shared valuable insights on how women entrepreneurs, particularly in the food and agri-based sectors, can leverage the Amazon Saheli programme to transform local ventures into nationally recognised brands. She guided participants through the Amazon seller onboarding process, compliance requirements, logistics, marketing support, and strategies for scaling businesses through e-commerce.

As consumer behaviour continues to shift online, the webinar highlighted how digital marketplaces can empower women-led enterprises to reach millions of customers, strengthen their brand presence, and unlock new avenues for growth. Featuring inspiring success stories such as BonPhool and Made in Nagaland, the session demonstrated the transformative potential of e-commerce in enabling women entrepreneurs to build sustainable and scalable businesses.

Ms. Kashish explained that Amazon Saheli offers free product photoshoots for up to 70 products, cataloging support, 3 months of account management, and a capped referral fee of 12% (8% for handmade products), along with dedicated store visibility and marketing support.

The webinar was a step forward in advancing FICCI FLO’s commitment to equipping women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, digital tools, and market access needed to scale, succeed, and lead in India’s evolving economy.

The session was organised jointly by the FLO Agriculture, Agro-Based & Food Processing Industry Initiative, led by Ar. Minal Jain (Initiative Lead) and Ms. Radhika Gupta (Co-Lead), and the FLO AI & Digital Literacy Initiative, led by Ms. Dekyi Chawla (Initiative Lead) and Ms. Ridhi Jain (Co-Lead).
