A FICCI FLO delegation comprising over 60 women entrepreneurs and professionals from across India, led by Ms. Puja Garg, 43rd National President, FICCI FLO, called on the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A. Revanth Reddy, at Bodhi Pavilion in the Chief Minister’s Camp Office at the MCRHRDI campus, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The interaction was held on the sidelines of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the FICCI FLO Hyderabad Chapter, hosted under the leadership of Ms. Seetha Reddy, Chairperson, FICCI FLO Hyderabad (2026–27).
Welcoming the delegation, the Chief Minister appreciated FICCI FLO’s four-decade legacy of empowering women through entrepreneurship, leadership and economic participation. Sharing his journey from serving as an elected Zilla Parishad representative to leading the State, he reaffirmed his Government’s commitment to women-led development.
Speaking about the State’s long-term roadmap, “Telangana Rising 2047,” Shri Revanth Reddy invited greater investment into Telangana and called upon industry bodies such as FICCI FLO to partner in building an inclusive and prosperous future. He remarked that his administration is “not merely a women-friendly government, but a government created by women,” acknowledging the decisive role women have played in the State’s progress.
Highlighting Telangana’s pioneering work in women’s empowerment, the Chief Minister said the State has over 67 lakh women associated with Self-Help Groups, making it one of India’s strongest SHG ecosystems.
He outlined several transformative initiatives, including interest-free loans, financial assistance exceeding ₹60,000 crore through institutional credit, allotment of petrol pumps to women entrepreneurs, ownership opportunities in 1,000 MW of solar power projects, free bus rides for women across the state and the induction of nearly 1,000 RTC women-owned buses. He also highlighted the Indira Mahila Shakti initiative and the role of nearly 27,000 women managing government schools across the State.
The Chief Minister encouraged FICCI FLO to work closely with Telangana’s Self-Help Groups by facilitating market access, recognising and rewarding outstanding women-led enterprises, and engaging with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon to secure more favourable terms for women entrepreneurs.
Reaffirming Telangana’s commitment to collaboration, Shri Revanth Reddy assured the delegation of the Government’s full support and proposed quarterly interactions with FICCI FLO to review progress on women-centric initiatives. He also invited FLO to partner with the State in advancing the vision of Telangana Rising 2047, contributing towards the state’s aspiration of becoming a US$3 trillion economy to support the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
In a significant announcement, the Chief Minister allotted 1,000 square yards of land at Shilparamam Art & Crafts Village for FICCI FLO Hyderabad-Centre of Excellence and additionally announced the allocation of One Acre of land in Bharat Future City, Telangana, for empowerment programs, further strengthening the organisation’s presence in the State.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Sanjay Jaju, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana, and Shri K. Ramakrishna Rao, Advisor & Special Chief Secretary of Telangana, also assured the delegation of the Government’s continued support for initiatives that promote women’s entrepreneurship, skill development and economic empowerment.
