Circle of Influence: Workplace Conduct Matters: Navigating Professional Boundaries.

FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson Tripti Behl, organized a dynamic “Circle of Influence” (COI) networking and learning event in Dehradun. Designed around a “For the Member, By the Member” philosophy, the initiative successfully brought together over 25 members—including senior leadership like Meenakshi Soti, Harpreet Kaur Marwah, Maneet Suri, and Mamta Rawat—to drive member engagement and local business promotion.

The program strategically aligned with core FLO focus areas, bridging MSME Development, Legal Advocacy, Textile and Handlooms, and Greentech. The evening commenced with an exclusive COI Explore walkthrough at Vimla Rugs, led by entrepreneur and FLO member Anjali Shukla. Attendees explored an exquisite, sustainable collection of handcrafted rugs, handloom sarees, blue pottery, and lifestyle accessories, learning how the brand champions traditional artistry alongside renewable energy and a greener future.

Following the entrepreneurial showcase, certified trainer Mini Gupta led a critical legal advocacy and knowledge session focused on workplace conduct and professional boundaries. This session provided essential compliance insights into the POSH Act, detailing how companies must set up an Internal Committee (IC) and extending vital harassment reporting awareness to protect household staff and domestic workers.

The event promoted member led businesses, driving visibility and business promotion for local women entrepreneurs by showcasing brands like Vimla Rugs and Cafe DoSarah. It educated members on sustainable production by highlighting how traditional artistry intersects with renewable energy.

The event concluded with a curated networking high tea by Pooja Kotra’s Cafe DoSarah, which brilliantly highlighted the intersection of agro-foods and food processing by blending local grains and ingredients into a delicious, cross-cuisine spread.
