FLO Lucknow, in the esteemed presence of Ms. Aparna Yadav, Vice Chairperson of the UP Women’s Commission, adopted a strong resolution to further its commitment to environmental sustainability and a greener Lucknow on Earth Day 2025.
The chapter pledged to plant 6,000 saplings across 20 schools and 10 public parks, supported by FLO members, students, and local volunteers. The initiative includes an educational awareness campaign through workshops, rallies, and street performances focused on eco-conscious living.
To ensure long-term impact, quarterly “Green Checkpoints” will monitor progress, supported by collaborations with NGOs, local media, and government bodies. FLO Lucknow is committed to empowering and educating women. This year’s empowering theme, “Vision to Achieve,” highlights the importance of clarity, confidence, and consistent effort in turning aspirations into reality.
