FLO Ahmedabad’s Policy & Advocacy Committee, led by Chairperson Ms. Usha Jaiswal, along with team members Ms. Gopi Trivedi and Ms. Prachi Patwari, organised “SEEDTIME – See Differently. Grow Together” on 12th June 2026 at the AUDA Auditorium, Shela, Ahmedabad. The workshop was conducted in partnership with Vedant International School and Cambridge University Press & Assessment, bringing together expertise in education, policy advocacy, and parenting and child development under one platform.
The session was designed around the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, with a clear focus on building education that is foundational, flexible, and future-ready — not only through institutional reform, but through empowered, informed parenting. The workshop recognised parents as vital partners in a child’s holistic development, placing particular emphasis on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) as the essential building blocks of lifelong learning.
Led by Ms. Rakhi Chauhan, Parenting Mindset Coach and Conscious Parenting Advocate, the session moved beyond conventional academic-focused parenting to explore a more holistic approach — one that nurtures curiosity, creativity, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking alongside academic achievement. Parents were encouraged to see their role not just as facilitators of academic success, but as architects of their child’s broader emotional and creative development.
A significant part of the workshop centred on conscious parenting practices and meaningful everyday interactions. Participants explored practical ways to strengthen parent-child relationships and build emotionally secure environments where children feel safe to express themselves, take risks, and grow with confidence.
