Gram Yojana: Eye Camp at Venkatapuram Panchayat
FLO in association with Lions Club Chennai conducted a free eye camp by Agarwal Eye hospital at Venkatapuram Village. The camp saw people pouring in large numbers from Venkatapuram as well as its neighbouring villages. Surgeries were performed for those required and spectacles were given free of cost.
SWAYAM: Entrepreneurship Development for Professional Excellence in Organic Farming
FLO in association with Sathyabama chose 20 women from rural areas and trained them on organic cultivation, thereby enabling inflow of revenue by selling the yield. The women were taught how to plant them and how to nurture them, the correct manure and practices to be followed for Organic farming.
