FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Madhu Banthia, had a warm visit to Aastha Foundation, a nurturing home for elderly women—many of whom have no immediate family or have chosen to spend their later years in the comfort of shared companionship and care.
Spending time with these women—listening to their stories, sharing conversations, laughter, songs, and simple moments of togetherness—was truly a pleasure and a gentle reminder of the power of human connection. The warmth, grace, and quiet strength with which they carry their lives left a lasting impression on all FLO members. There was a shared feeling of comfort, belonging, and anticipation, as the women expressed how much they looked forward to these moments of interaction.
30 elderly women became a part of this heartwarming visit. FICCI FLO Ahmedabad looks forward to making these visits a monthly engagement, creating a space where we can continue to spend time together—talking, singing, playing simple games, and most importantly, being present. Sometimes, the greatest gift we can offer is time, empathy, and companionship—and this visit reaffirmed just that.
