The Language Of Connection Workshop

FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson, Dr. Geeta Khanna, successfully conducted the second session of the 12-month transformational course, Graceful Living, at Sudhowala Jail, Dehradun, under its flagship Skill Her Project & wellness initiative, is steered by Rama Chopra and Gurkiran Pathak, Health & Wellness Initiative Head and Project Lead, Skill Her. 

Themed “The Language of Connection – Healing through Words, Listening, and Empathy”, the session was facilitated by life coach & motivational speaker Rama Chopra. The program deeply engaged 200 women inmates, encouraging them to embrace mindful  communication, authentic self-expression, and empathetic listening as tools for healing and personal growth.

The workshop opened with a guided meditation that calmed and centered participants, creating a reflective atmosphere. This was followed by interactive learning sessions and reflective practices that enabled inmates to explore emotional awareness and connection. The session concluded on a joyful note with 20 minutes of group dancing, symbolizing unity, freedom of spirit, and shared harmony. 

Through Graceful Living, FLO Uttarakhand continues its sacred journey of healing, empowerment, and hope, striving to restore dignity and build inner strength among women inmates, and moving closer to the vision of creating meaningful transformation through the Skill Her Project.
