The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World

YFLO Delhi, under the leadership of Chairperson Aaradhana Dalmia, in collaboration with Exhibit 320, organized an intellectually enriching and culturally immersive evening titled “The Golden Road – How Ancient India Transformed the World.” The talk with Mr. William Dalrymple took place at The National Museum, Janpath. William Dalrymple is a renowned historian and author whose scholarship and storytelling brought to life India’s profound influence on global civilization. 

The event seamlessly blended history, art, and dialogue, offering members a rare opportunity to engage deeply with India’s civilizational legacy. Under the guidance of Day Chair Damandeep Banga, the event unfolded as a thoughtfully curated experience—one that celebrated India’s intellectual, artistic, and spiritual contributions to the world. 

Also, the event included a guided tour of the National Museum and a high tea at the Buddhist Gallery Courtyard for the attendees. The purpose of The Golden Road event was to illuminate India’s role as a global thought leader in ancient times and to reframe historical narratives through a contemporary lens.
