FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Madhu Banthia, organized a session, titled “Tera Tujhko Arpan,” focused on teaching attendees about collecting floral waste from major temples in Ahmedabad and convert them into eco-friendly products such as dhoopbattis and agarbattis.
Also, used donated temple saris/vastras can be used for reusable packaging. This event trained 35 women in incense-making, stitching, and finishing. Also, they developed flower- and gobar-based incense variants with complete costing and batch planning.
35 women directly upskilled and employed due to this session. FLO has partnered with temple authorities (for waste donation), local community centres (for training venue), and corporate houses for CSR orders and festive gifting.
