FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Anita Agarwal, collaborated with Symbiosis International for organizing the 6th edition of “The Symbiosis Literary Festival 2025.” The event unfolded as a vibrant celebration of ideas, storytelling, and intellectual exchange, bringing together authors, thinkers, academicians, students, and literature enthusiasts over two enriching days. Day 1 – Inaugural Sessions & Keynote Highlights
The Symbiosis LIT fest 2025 opened with great anticipation as Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Hon’ble Member of Parliament and acclaimed author, delivered the inaugural address, speaking passionately about the power of language, literature, and storytelling in shaping society and fostering empathy. His discussion touched on the role of liberal arts in contemporary education and the need for compassion and narrative depth in public discourse.

The festival culminated with the closing ceremony graced by Javed Akhtar — eminent Indian screenwriter, lyricist, and poet — who shared his reflections on poetry, art, and the enduring power of the written word.
