FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, in association with Samskriya Foundation, successfully conducted 50 learning sessions on Electricity and Robotics during the month of December at Sriperumbudur, reaching a total of 1,146 students. The objective of this initiative was to enhance scientific curiosity and provide practical exposure to fundamental and emerging science concepts among school students.
Throughout the project, students were introduced to key topics such as robotics, basic electricity, and microorganisms. The robotics sessions focused on understanding core concepts like electronic components, sensors, simple circuits, and basic programming logic. Students actively participated in hands-on experiments, including the LED blinking project and beginner-level robotics models, which helped them understand how theory is applied in real-world technology.
These interactive sessions encouraged problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and teamwork. The learning sessions significantly improved students’ interest and confidence in science. By engaging in practical experiments and live demonstrations, students gained a deeper understanding of scientific principles and their applications.
The project not only strengthened their foundational knowledge in science and technology but also inspired them to explore STEM-related subjects further. Overall, the initiative created a meaningful and impactful learning experience, fostering innovation, curiosity, and enthusiasm for science among the students.
