FLO Chennai, in collaboration with SPARK Book Club, organized a session on The Handmaid’s Tale. Over 30 members joined the discussion on “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood, a work of speculative fiction. The session featured FLO Chennai’s Senior Vice Chair, Dr. Amulya, who introduced the narrative through her perspective as a medical professional.
The discussion that followed was moderated by Shibi Ravi of the Book Club team. Members, Mansi Paun noted the effectiveness of the moderation, while Malavika Sawhney praised both Shibi and Sushma for creating this space.
The session also featured a spread of vegan cuisine, hosted by Go Native Café. Lekha Shanmugam from the Collab Team curated the venue and Mansi Mehta of Food Amore curated the gifts.
