Skill Meets Style: Blouse Tailoring

The two-week Blouse Stitching Tailoring training in Jayanagar, where women gained practical tailoring skills and created beautiful blouses by hand, was a great success. With a boost in confidence and a toolkit for financial independence, they are now ready to stitch their way into new opportunities. The training focused on learning and creativity from taking measurements and cutting patterns to final stitching and finishing techniques. 

Each participant learnt 4-5 new patterns. This initiative has not only equipped them with valuable skills but also given them the confidence to explore tailoring as a means of income and independence. Each blouse can earn them Rs 600, and they can confidently make two a day.

The beneficiaries learnt, stitched and wore their handiwork with pride.
