FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Anita Agarwal, in collaboration with AyuGen Biosciences and Roche Diagnostics, successfully hosted ‘Shield Her Future – Cervical Forum 2025’. The event aimed to raise awareness about cervical cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment.
Guest of Honour Dr. Gauravi Mishra, Deputy Director at Tata Memorial Centre, highlighted that cervical cancer is entirely preventable and curable if diagnosed early. She stressed routine screening starting at age 30 and awareness of symptoms such as irregular bleeding and discharge.
A dynamic panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Sandeep Sewlikar (Roche Diagnostics), featured Dr. Harshad Parasnis, Dr. Milind Dugad, Dr. Aarti Nimkar, Dr. Meenu Agarwal, and Manish Punglia. The panel emphasized the importance of regular screening, HPV testing, and education, even for vaccinated women.
