FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Niyati A. Mehta, Chairperson, along with the dedicated support of the committee members, successfully conducted a Sanitary Napkin Distribution Program in collaboration with NIINE for the beneficiaries of Arpanam. The initiative aimed at promoting menstrual health and hygiene while ensuring access to safe and essential sanitary products for women.
Over 100 women benefited from the program through the distribution of sanitary napkin kits. Each kit included sanitary pads along with basic hygiene information to encourage safe practices during menstruation. The session also focused on creating awareness about personal hygiene, health risks associated with improper menstrual practices, and the importance of using hygienic products.
