FLO Amritsar, led by Chairperson Dr. Simarpreet Sandhu, hosted the “Mindful Families” event in association with Inside-Out by Gowri Bansal. Guided by Ms. Raageshwari Loomba, the event explored themes such as resilience, finding inner peace amidst life’s distractions and embracing family imperfections.
This initiative empowered families to strengthen their bonds and discover deeper connections. Furthering its mission to uplift society, FLO Amritsar launched the FLO Rural Livelihood Initiative’s Bicycle Distribution Drive. Partnering with Finolex Industries Limited and the Mukul Madhav Foundation, 25 bicycles were distributed to young girls traveling more than 3 km to school.
Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ghanshyam Thori graced the event as the Chief Guest, underscoring the importance of community engagement in driving positive social change. Additionally, the FLO Literacy Initiative was introduced, in collaboration with Newton Classroom and Ms Raageshwari Loomba. FLO Amritsar’s efforts exemplify its dedication to driving meaningful social change and empowering the next generation.
