FLO Vadodara, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Shivani P. Patel, organised a session under FICCI FLO’s national initiative Urban Skilling for women via Udayan Care. IT Skills – Email Writing, led by Ms. Devanshi Pandya. The Email Writing Workshop aimed to enhance the communication and professional writing skills of women.
The session focused on the fundamentals of writing effective and well-structured emails suitable for academic and professional use. Participants learned the importance of clear subject lines, appropriate greetings, concise message bodies, and proper closing statements. The facilitator also highlighted common errors to avoid while drafting emails and shared examples of both formal and informal email formats.
Around 40 women attended this, which helped them improve their writing confidence, clarity, and understanding of email etiquette. It will support them in future internships, job opportunities, and academic correspondence.
