FLO Kolkata set up a Skilling Centre back in July 2025. The centre focuses on empowering women by equipping them with income-generating skills. Women and young girls enrolled themselves in vocational courses, such as beautician and makeup artistry, stitching, mehendi, digital skills, and even training for Zomato delivery partners.
From October to December 2025, FLO Kolkata Skilling Centre focused on the empowerment of women through training in digital mastery. In this way, the trainers prepared women participants for the future workforce. The following curriculum is included for making women crucial players in Viksit Bharat 2047:
Core Curriculum
- Basic Computers: Mastery of Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, and professional documentation.
- Professional Readiness: Extensive typing, email etiquette, and resume building.
- Entrepreneurial Growth: Specialized training in Digital Marketing and Social Media to help women promote and scale their own businesses.
Progress to Date
Around 150 Women are trained in professional digital skills. 8-Station Tech Hub provides hands-on learning to women. FLO Skilling Centre is a promise to empower women at every level. The centre provides the skills and confidence they need to build self-reliant futures.
