FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh was invited to participate in ‘Budget Pe Charcha’, a session with Hon’ble MP Shri Anurag Thakur Ji. The discussion provided insights into the Union Budget, highlighting key provisions that can benefit the region and its citizens. Shri Anurag Thakur elaborated on various aspects of the budget, particularly emphasizing schemes and financial allocations designed to support women’s empowerment.
Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson congratulated the government on presenting a balanced and inclusive budget, addressing multiple sectors and growth opportunities. She appreciated the gender-focused budget allocation of ₹4.49 lakh crore for women-centric schemes and the disbursal of term loans of up to ₹2 over 5 years to women entrepreneurs.
