Heritage and Spiritual Awakening Trip to Banaras

FLO Jaipur, led by Chairperson Ms. Raghushree Poddar, started a 3-day journey to Banaras, India’s spiritual and handloom capital. The trip offered a dive into the city’s sacred traditions, artistic heritage, and culinary delights.

The group witnessed the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and indulged in Banarasi street food, including crispy kachoris, jalebis, Banarasi paan, and thandai. They visited Kashi Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav Temples as well.

A highlight of the trip was an interaction with Banarasi weavers, where members gained insight into the intricate craftsmanship of Varanasi textiles. The visit reinforced FLO Jaipur’s commitment to supporting local artisans.
