FLO Kanpur, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Kriti Shroff, continues its commitment towards promoting women’s health and hygiene through impactful on-ground initiatives. Under the Health and Wellness vertical and the National Initiative, the Chapter organized its second Health Awareness and Medical Check-up Drive in collaboration with the Amar Ujala Foundation and Niine.
The camp, held at the Leading Factory, Kanpur, included ECG, eye check-ups, blood screening, and basic health screening for women workers. Along with medical assessments, an awareness session on personal health and hygiene was conducted to encourage preventive care and overall well-being.
A total of 70 female workers benefited from the drive, and Niine sanitary napkins were distributed to promote menstrual hygiene. This initiative is part of FLO Kanpur’s ongoing Women’s Health & Hygiene Awareness Drive for Factory Workers. To date, three successful drives have been conducted, reaching over 260 women factory workers at:
- SS Corporation
- Ayushman Rope & Tape Pvt. Ltd.
- Global Export
FLO Kanpur extends heartfelt gratitude to the Amar Ujala Foundation for partnering in free medical check-ups, Niine for supporting menstrual hygiene awareness, and all members who offered their factory premises and ensured seamless execution of the drives.
