FLO Vadodara, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Shivani P. Patel, organised a GD Mock – Interview session under FICCI FLO’s national initiative Urban Skilling for women via Udayan Care. Led by Mr. Amrit Singh, the session focused on building essential employability competencies such as communication, team coordination, critical thinking, and professional etiquette.
Participants were introduced to the structure of group discussions, techniques for initiating and concluding conversations, maintaining logical flow, and demonstrating leadership in group settings. The trainer also highlighted common interview expectations, appropriate grooming, and the importance of first impressions.
Women actively took part in mock GDs and simulated interviews, gaining hands-on experience in handling pressure, expressing ideas clearly, and responding to questions with confidence. They received detailed individual feedback on body language, clarity of speech, content organisation, and overall presentation.
The skilling-driven workshop aimed to enhance job readiness and empower around 35 attendees with the practical tools needed to excel in academic interviews, internships, and future employment opportunities.
