FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Geeta Khanna, organized a free multi-speciality health camp at Shree Maa Care Foundation, Dehradun, under the Health & Wellness initiative led by Gurkiran Pathak.
As part of its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, the camp aimed to provide accessible, quality healthcare services, especially to the underprivileged sections of society, and witnessed an enthusiastic response, with 110 patients benefitting from essential medical consultations and treatments. Jointly chaired by Gurkiran Pathak and Dr. Giggle Rastogi, the camp had expert doctors from multiple specialities ensuring comprehensive healthcare support.
Dr. N. S. Jangpangi, Eye Specialist from Amritsar Eye Clinic, examined 54 patients offering vision checks and consultations; Dr. Rekha Khanna, Gynaecologist, consulted 15 women addressing reproductive health concerns; Dr. Anshika Jain, General Physician, attended to 27 patients for issues including blood pressure, fever, and weakness; and Dr. Giggle Rastogi, Dental and Oral Surgeon & FLO Uttarakhand member, examined 14 patients while raising awareness about oral hygiene.
Additionally, over 27 individuals underwent blood sugar testing, promoting early detection and preventive care. The camp served as a meaningful initiative to spread health awareness, encourage early diagnosis, and highlight the importance of preventive healthcare.
FLO Uttarakhand extends heartfelt gratitude to all participating doctors and the supporting staff for their invaluable service, and to Dr. Deepak Anand Vishnoi (CEO), Reena Vishnoi (Dean), and the volunteers of Shree Maa Care Foundation for their seamless organisation and on-ground support. Around 110 people participated in this health and wellness camp. Also, it achieved a community outreach by reaching 250 people.
