FLO Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Chairperson Madhu Banthia, organized a Flower-Making Workshop under the Skill to Scale theme as part of Project Wings–Wedding Initiative. Held at Bhandari Foundation, Ranip Centre, the workshop focused on empowering women through skill development by providing market-relevant training that enables income generation and supports sustainable livelihood opportunities within the wedding ecosystem.
The session offered hands-on training in decorative floral crafts widely used in weddings and events, enabling participants to translate creative skills into viable economic opportunities. Mentor Shubha Bhandari and event head Rachna Mehta led the workshop.
Around 100 participants took part in this workshop to gain income-generating skills. The initiative strengthened participants’ confidence, enhanced employable skills, and aligned creativity with entrepreneurship, supporting Project Wings’ vision of economic self-reliance and scalable growth.
