FLO Pune, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Anita Agarwal, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Railways for a special tree plantation drive. Around 3000 trees will be planted on barren railway land across the Pune region. This is a part of FLO Sustainability initiative which focuses on promoting sustainable and eco-conscious practices through women led approach.
A few trees have already been planted under this initiative, and the full plantation drive is scheduled for completion before August 2025. This joint effort is a part of FLO Pune’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, aiming to transform underutilized spaces into thriving green corridors.
This project not only aligns with FLO’s national sustainability vision but also showcases how women-led platforms can lead impactful environmental change through collaboration and action.
