FICCI FLO’s 42nd National President, Ms. Poonam Sharma, was recently invited by the Siliguri chapter to grace a mega health camp as the Guest of Honour at FLO Shakti Skill Centre. On 27 January 2026, the President was warmly welcomed by FLO Siliguri chairperson Ms. Payal Periwal and committee members for a wonderful evening filled with inspirational stories, magical performances, and sisterhood bonding.
An award ceremony, the Women of Worth Recognition, was also held to honour 5 inspiring women for their outstanding support and unwavering commitment. The evening ended with a mind-blowing performance by Mr. Vinay Kapri, a mentalist and magician, who left the guests spellbound with mind-reading, visual illusions, and sleight of hand techniques.
On 28 January 2026, Ms. Poonam Sharma inaugurated the health camp, which was held in collaboration with Acharya Tulsi Diagnostic Centre (ATDC) under FLO Kavach- Health & Wellbeing vertical. It was organized to empower the women at the grassroots level by equipping them with essential healthcare services, such as

- General Health Check-up along with blood test like haemoglobin, LFT, and KFT.
- Orthopaedic Consultations.
- Sanitary Pad Distribution.
- Pathologist Consultation.
- Pre-Cancerous Cervical Screening.

Also, the camp raised awareness for making preventive healthcare a priority for women who often neglect the early symptoms. The event came to fruition due to the efforts of event chair, Ms. Vineeta Baid, FLO Siliguri chapter chairperson Ms. Payal Periwal, and the committee members. This mega health camp is a testament to FICCI FLO’s commitment towards making accessible and inclusive healthcare for women.
