FICCI FLO, under the leadership of 42nd National President, Ms. Poonam Sharma, in collaboration with The Institute of Directors (IOD), completed the 3rd batch for its five-day boardroom training program, “FLO Women Independent Directors Masterclass.”
Batch 3 of the masterclass continued to provide structured, high-quality governance education for board-aspiring women and senior leaders. The programme is aligned with the Companies Act, 2013, and IOD’s well-recognised director training framework.
This masterclass was designed exclusively for Pan-India FLO members to transform them into certified corporate directors. It strengthened boardroom competencies across Company Law, board responsibilities, risk management, ESG, financial literacy, and strategic leadership, along with practical simulation exercises.
This program is a part of the FLO Women Directors initiative, led by the initiative head Ms. Usharani Manne, along with the support of Ms. Shobha Jolly, co-chair, Ms. Sujitha Reddy, and Ms. Neha Reddy.
Outcome & Impact
26 women leaders from different chapters are now better equipped to take on board responsibilities with confidence. The batch generated strong word-of-mouth for FLO’s Women Directors Initiative and reinforced FLO–IOD partnership as a credible pathway for women seeking board roles.
