A delegation from FICCI FLO had the honour of meeting the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on March 25, 2026. The delegation, led by FLO National President, Ms. Poonam Sharma, comprised members of the FLO Presidium, Past Presidents, and Governing Body members. The interaction with the President of India served as an important opportunity to present FLO’s vision, ongoing initiatives, and its commitment to advancing women-led economic growth in India.
Key discussions focused on promoting inclusive growth and fostering stronger collaboration between FICCI FLO and government institutions. The delegation highlighted FLO’s impactful work in different domains, such as women entrepreneurship, skilling, financial literacy, policy advocacy, STEM education, and grassroots development across India.
FICCI FLO has been a catalyst for women’s empowerment for over four decades. The meeting reaffirmed FLO’s continued commitment to working closely with national leaders to accelerate women-led development and nation-building.
