Experiential Learning Visit to the Officers Training Academy 

FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Niyati A. Mehta, hosted a session at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) to provide a memorable experience and valuable knowledge about military life and training. The session included an overview of OTA training, highlighting the objectives, methods, and values that shape the journey. Officers were also introduced to a detailed explanation of weapons and equipment, along with their objectives, usage, and relevance to the training academy. 

These demonstrations were not only informative but also clarified the members’ understanding of the practical aspects of officer preparation. In addition, the program offered an experiential perspective, helping attendees appreciate the resilience, commitment, and sacrifices made by officers during their training. The discussions evoked a strong sense of patriotism, reinforcing the respect and admiration for those who dedicate their lives to the service of the nation. 

Overall, the session proved to be highly meaningful, leaving participants enriched with knowledge and inspired by the values of discipline and dedication. A total of 28 FLO members attended this session about military life and training. A special note of gratitude is also extended to the OTA Commanders and Officers for their support, cooperation, and for allowing this memorable session to take place. Their contribution made it possible for FLO Members to gain valuable insights into the life, training, and commitment of officers who serve the nation.
