Driving Skills Training Program For Inmates At Ladies Jail, Yerwada.

FLO Pune, under the leadership of Ms. Anita Agarwal, marked a meaningful step toward empowerment and self-reliance with the launch of a driving skills training programme at the Ladies Jail, Yerwada. Held under Urban Skilling Initiative, the session focused on training 34 women prison staff in two-wheeler and four-wheeler driving skills, aimed at enhancing mobility, confidence, safety, and professional capability.

The programme is being facilitated by India Vision Foundation, whose expertise ensures structured, practical, and safety-oriented training. This skill-building intervention goes beyond learning to drive—it supports dignity, independence, and preparedness, enabling women staff to strengthen their daily work efficiency and personal autonomy.

This skill-building initiative reflects FLO Pune’s commitment to inclusive development by creating opportunities that empower women through practical life skills. By investing in training that builds confidence and safety, FLO Pune continues to support women in institutional settings, fostering long-term impact through capability, resilience, and self-belief.
